The Kamloops Arts Council is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the role of Producer/Mentor for our Children’s Summer Theatre Program the Rivertown Players. Application Deadline is April 29, 2015.
The Producer/Mentor is a theatre professional who will oversee the Kamloops Arts Council’s Rivertown Players, a student troupe that produces children’s performances throughout July and August.
Overseeing the student director/actor and actors, the Producer/Mentor will provide leadership, direction, feedback and structure to the program. This could include input into show bookings, script creation/development, coaching, and feedback on set design, costumes, rehearsals and performances. The Producer/Mentor reports to the KAC Events & Programs Manager and works alongside other staff and volunteers.
