July 1, 2022
Riverside Park West, Rose Garden
10am – 5pm

Art in the Park is a premiere artist show and sale held outdoors annually on July 1st in beautiful Riverside Park, as part of the Canada Day Celebrations for the City of Kamloops, BC. An average of 30,000 visitors attend throughout the day-long festivities

This year, performances are conditional based on funding. As a non-profit, we rely on donations, sponsors, and government funding.

Art in the Park has moved this year to the Rose Garden due to city construction. Our planned stage area is a small tented grassy area. Because of this move, we will also likely not have power supplied to the stage.

We are also asking applicants to submit roving performances. This could be things like juggling, playing guitar, stilt-walking, etc. Anything on the move! And yes, we absolutely encourage costumes of all kinds! Applications will be given to the Selection Committee for approval.

Submitting an application is not a guarantee of performing at Art in the Park.

Important Dates:
May 27: Application Deadline
June 3: Notification of acceptance
If you have any issues or questions, please email Marta at events@kamloopsarts.ca or call the office at 250-372-7323
Note: If you do not see any emails from the KAC in your inbox, please check your junk folder.
