Art in Public Spaces – Call for Artists

The Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) is excited to announce a new program to create more opportunities for local visual artists to exhibit their work.

Art in Public Spaces offers opportunities to display your artwork where Kamloops citizens and tourists congregate — places like health care centres, hotel lobbies, empty storefronts, and a variety of local businesses. Locations are in process, but we plan to launch at our first two venues very soon.

Artwork will be matched with an appropriate venue. Your artwork would be exhibited for a three to six-month term. There is no cost to you, the artist, to participate, other than a 30% commission on sales to the KAC. You must be a KAC member to participate.

If this sounds exciting to you as an artist, fill out the submission form and email it to our Galleries Coordinator at [email protected], or drop it off at the KAC office located in the Old Courthouse, 7 Seymour St. W.
