Painting
Ken primarily works in acrylics and has developed a new paint formula using a rare earth mineral called strontium aluminate. After several years of experimenting with this material, he now manufactures his own paint and possesses the artistic license to use it freely. Strontium Aluminate collects and stores light, while at the same time releasing light from within the paint. When viewed in the dark, the paintings emit light directly from the paint to the viewer’s eyes giving a glow-in-the-dark sensation.
