Acrylic Paintings: abstracted landscapes, portraits. Nature, light, colour, texture. Live painting. Digital and AI-assisted photo manipulation.
My husband and I moved to Kamloops in 2015 and it was here that my love for art, specifically painting, was rekindled. Live painting was new to me, but I now adore combining performance with visual art.

From inspiration to evaluation, I adore every detail about creating. I draw, I plan, I sew, I face paint! I use my skills to help people find theirs. I especially love helping children believe in magic through illustrations, crafts, and theatrics. I do this by coordinating events like my Mermaid Shell-ebration or Princess Prep Summer Camp.

Mary Boychuk is a relatively new watercolor artist. As a young mom, she dabbled in acrylics for a few years and then things somehow went by the wayside while raising young children. Three years ago, she and her husband retired and moved to Kamloops from Edmonton. In her most recent two years, she has been doing watercolor paintings and has found a new way of expression in it. Most days, you will find her at her paint station working on yet another creation. Life is good, as they say !
