Carmen's Artful Imagery"
Carmen Teixeira- Derksen has always had a passion for Art in her life. Born, raised and still living in Salmon Arm, BC with her husband Ryan, they love the beauty, abundance of outdoor activities and inspiration that the area provides. They are also very fortuate to live near their loving and supportive parents.
Carmen's Artful Imagery is showcased with her absolute love of colour, texture and layers of Acrylic paint. "It's important that my work portrays movement and emotion's". She describes her Style as her own form of Impressionism. Her imagination and creative style draws from ideas of reality that are recognizable and relateable but are seemingly illusive in reality.
