studio jewelry + sculpture + writing
As a maker of studio jewelry which I design and craft myself, I am influenced by the concept training I received at Emily Carr University as a student of visual arts. Although there are always conventional rings and earrings and pendants from Arte Fact Jewels, there is a tendency to explore the materials I use in different ways to see where it leads.

Jewelry artist - Sterling Silver, Bronze and Brass
“Creating, using metals in a variety of forms is something I love to do. I am inspired by nature and I attempt to replicate its simple shapes and fluid lines.
I am a self–taught metal artist. Each piece of jewelry is original and hand crafted. I use Bronze and Sterling silver and Brass. I love the look of mixed metals and how they complement each other.
I strive for simple elegance and every day wear ability when designing my work.”

My name is Dr. Arunima Banshpal. I was born in Bilaspur, India and presently I live in Kamloops BC. From an early age I was interested in the paintings. This childhood interest of mine is groomed by local guru shri Arun Gaikwad. For a long time I have been learning various forms of paintings under guidance of Mr Gaikwad. In that order I received the guidance of senior artists like Mr. Vikaramjit Dev (MFA from Khairagarh university) and Mr. Pillai.

Keeping this continued interest of my paintings, I exhibited my paintings (Solo and Group exhibition) in Zambia (Africa), Jharsugura (Orissa, India), Raipur (Chhattisgarh, India), Korba (Chhattisgarh, India) and Bilaspur (Chattisgarh, India). I received state level respect and award from ‘’ SANSKAR BHARTI SANSTHA ‘’ from honourable Mr. Brij Mohan Agrawal (Cultural minister of Chhattisgarh).
I am currently conducting workshops related to painting and artworks and perform my solo and group exhibitions.
After relocating to Canada, I embraced the vibrant art scene by commissioning several stunning paintings for my clients, each piece carefully tailored to their tastes. During this time, I also dedicated myself to mastering new artistic techniques, experimenting with various styles and mediums. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, igniting my creativity and allowing me to express my passion for art with newfound joy and enthusiasm. Each brushstroke brings me closer to realizing my artistic vision, and I am excited to see where this path will take me next.

Pottery
Yvonne Bauer has always been fascinated by pottery and all the techniques used to create it, hence Attainable Art was formed in 2000.

Yvonne captures whimsical gesture and movement of each piece of clay art by using the method of hand-building. She further enhances each piece's personality of warmth and spirit by hand painting glazes that create iridescent colour and brilliant reflection occurrences from the Raku firing process.

Raku (Japanese meaning "freedom of enjoyment") is a process in which work is removed from the kiln at bright red heat and subjected to post-firing reduction (or smoking) by being placed in containers of combustible materials, which blackens raw clay and causes crazing of the glaze surface

Yvonne enjoys the rhythm of a potters life where the work never stops and each piece created goes out into the lives of those who chose them, leaving her with feelings of deep gratitude.

Audrey Meuse
Kamloops, BC

Art Teacher; Fibre Arts, Oil painting and multi media.
Audrey was raised in a very creative family: father, mother, aunts, and uncles all expressed a multitude of talent in many different disciplines. She has early memories of sitting for portraits in her uncle's studio, the B.C. artist Lou Englehart, and developed a love for the oil painting. Her mother was her most important influence, a talented seamstress, and porcelain painter.
After moving to Kamloops from her northern routes, Audrey became a member of both the Kamloops Photo Arts Club and the Kamloops Arts and Crafts Club. Wanting to explore a newfound curiosity for all things fibre she opened her own Weaving Studio on the North Shore in 2009. Audrey later won the competition to provide the City of Kamloops with gift scarves as a promotion for the 2010 Olympics.
The last few years, however, have brought a reawakening of her interest in painting after doing a mural at her business location. Eventually enrolling in a few local art classes with Yvonne Reddick, her love of the oil painting is sparking! Thank you for viewing.
