Brilliant Bovines by JoAnn Ardell
Sorrento, BC
Mixed Medium
I am JoAnn Ardell, creator of Brilliant Bovines.
I grew up in small towns throughout British Columbia, later moving to Alberta for my career. Living on acreages with horses, cows, chickens, and pigs, my weekends were filled with riding ATV’s, fishing, and hunting. I’m that person that loves both the country and the city.
My career in law enforcement with the RCMP is a far reach from my life today. Now I follow my passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures. I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years and have traveled to many countries. I love to experience all types of art and have taken drawing classes in Florence, Italy, thrown pottery in Mexico, and made jewelry from sea glass in the Turks and Caicos Islands. I love my German Shepherd – Kaiser Boy and driving my original 1978 F250 XLT.
I feel everyone has artistic expression whether it is a stick drawing or a masterpiece. Creativity has always been in my blood from making willow furniture to mosaic tile address signs to acrylic paintings. Combining bovine skulls with beautiful jewels is an expression of myself: country girl at heart but loving the pretty things found in the city.
When my art is purchased, it allows me to continue exploring and developing my craft in multimedia expression. My hope is for my art to bring you enjoyment and pleasure every day.

Grant and Tisha started this business in 2019, out of our small basement in Trail, BC. After 5 years, we're proud to boast that we have one of the largest selections of layered wooden wall art in Canada. We strive to create at least one new piece of art per week and specialize in layered pieces to decorate your home. While best known for our wall art, we also create smaller items like magnets, keychains, bookmarks, earrings, and suncatchers. We aim to provide a large selection of goods that appeals to everyone in design and price.

Bronwyn Celeste Art
Chilliwack, BC
paint
Born in New Brunswick but a true adventurer, Bronwyn has primarily lived in England since 2012. Over the past two years, she has returned to Atlantic Canada and travelled across Canada while working on new pieces. Self-taught, she enjoys developing her abilities through experimentation, instinct for colour and connecting with other artists.
Bronwyn treats her responsibility to create art with great care. She often creates pieces based on developing healthy thought patterns, breaking out of the old and moving into the new. By combining powerful words and striking colour, she works so mindsets are lifted and fortified in truth and sincerity. With her art, Bronwyn breaks through expectations, boundaries and most importantly; judgements about ourselves.

Bronwyn Coyne
Kamloops, BC
quilting and stained glass
I was raised in Kamloops and wanted to be an artist as a child, but found myself pursuing a more practical career. I dabbled in a few different mediums through my twenties, but with COVID I discovered two new to me art forms that relit my creative spark and I have been creating more in the past year than I did in the previous decade. I look forward to learning, finding and lending support and connecting with the artistic community in Kamloops.
