Marta’s Tower has collaborated with Kamloops Arts Council’s Children’s Arts Festival to bring you the Rootin-est Tootin-est Colouring Contest! Children 12 and under are welcome to join our colouring contest in the spirit of this year’s festival theme: Ranches to Rodeos. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful creations!

General Rules:

  • There are 2 age categories: 7 and under, 8-12
  • Kids can select 1 of 3 pages, unlimited entries per child, but only 1 win per child
  • Pages are available for pick-up at: Kamloops Arts Council, Kamloops Art Party, and Sweet Home Cafe
  • Pages are also available online to download and print at home via
  • All submissions will be displayed on the gallery walls! Winners are selected by POPULAR VOTE. Stop by the Whose Hue gallery at Kamloops Arts Council from September 6-15 to vote. 1 vote per person.

DEADLINE: September 1, 2023. Pages must be dropped off or mailed to Kamloops Arts Council anytime before that date.

Winners are announced at our FREE Children’s Arts Festival, September 16 between 10am to 4pm at Riverside Park.

The Kamloops Arts Council office and KAC Main Gallery are located in the city-owned Old Courthouse Cultural Centre at 7 Seymour Street West. We share this wonderful century-old building with the Courthouse Gallery Cooperative and Theatre BC (Mainstage).
