The Kamloops Arts Council has a swanky new website, and a new look to go with it! With this website, we’re pleased to launch our new brand, including an enhanced logo.
In early 2014, the Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) identified a challenge. While over 45,000 people participate in our programs each year — programs like Art in the Park and the Children’s Art Festival — it wasn’t clear they all come from the same source. With so many diverse events and programs, we asked, how could we make it clear that they’re all produced by the KAC?
The branding experts at Fresh Inc. worked with us to develop a unique solution. The new colour pinwheel that goes with the KAC logo adds colour and a sense of movement. We’ll draw from this colour palette to develop materials for each of our programs – including Art in the Park, the Children’s Art Festival, Art Exposed, the Rivertown Players, Crossing Bridges Outreach, Galleries and more.
