The Kristina Benson Art Scholarship was created to honour emerging artists pursuing post-secondary education in the visual arts and design fields. The scholarship will be awarded to a current or prospective student demonstrating eagerness, determination to succeed in their field and a passion to intuitively create!
1 (one) scholarship of $250 may be awarded each year.
Application deadline: May 31
- Graduating grade 12 and enrolling in post-secondary
education in a visual arts field (see below), or
- Enrolling into 1st year of post-secondary education in a program in design or visual arts
- Currently enrolled in a program in design or visual arts and continuing on to 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of post-secondary education.
Visual Arts programs include, but are not limited to:
- Graphic design
- Visual arts
- Communication design
