Your KAC membership must be current in order to vote at the AGM. You may purchase or renew your membership on Aug. 6 ($30 individual / equivalent to age for those under 30; $65 group; $150 corporate) or online here.

Proposed Changes to KAC Bylaws – to be voted on by KAC members

25(2) The number of directors must be at least 5, but not greater than 15.

SUGGESTED CHANGE:
25(2) The number of directors must be at least 5, but not greater than 12.

26(1) The term of the office of the Directors shall be for two (2) years, with no maximum number of terms.

SUGGESTED CHANGE:
26(1) The term of the office of the Directors shall be for two (2) years, with a maximum number of two (2) consecutive terms.

EXISTING – recommended to delete:
31 (2) An employee must not become a director of the Society within a period of six months after the date on which the person ceased to be an employee.

Per KAC bylaws, the amount of the first annual membership dues must be determined by the directors and after that the annual membership dues must be determined at the annual general meeting of the society.

EXISTING MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE:
Individual Artist under age 30: equivalent to age
Individual Artist 30+: $30
Community Arts Group – $65
Corporate – $150

RECOMMENDED CHANGE:
*Child/Youth/ Student with valid ID – $10
Individual – $30
*Family / Artist Collective – $50 (up to 5 individuals – each has the right to participate in KAC shows, sales etc.)
Community Arts Group – $65
