Connecting Creative Communities
The Kamloops Arts Council is honoured to create and explore within the unceded ancestral lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc in Secwepemcúl’ecw. Here, alongside the People of the Confluence, we aim to braid the deep roots of tradition into our artistic practices, and recognize the key role artistic expression has held in the resilience of the Secwépemc, their land, and their story.

Who is the Kamloops Arts Council?
The Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) is a registered charitable non-profit organization that is devoted to the development and enhancement of the arts in the Kamloops area. We support all artists and art organizations and promote cooperation among them.
What we do

We produce high-quality, year-round low- and no-cost arts programs, arts workshops and arts events that help to connect our local community and promote our local talent.

Get involved
Whether you’re just learning to paint, are an established sculptor, an arts supporter, a business that champions the arts and wants to get involved in the community, or an arts supporter that wants to make a difference, the KAC welcomes you!

Programs
From our Art in the Park festival on Canada Day to our Galleries & Exhibitions featuring local artists in all mediums, the KAC’s year-round low and no-cost arts programs provide opportunities for local artists while making the arts accessible to all.

Become a Member
KAC Membership provides plenty of benefits to artists and art groups (individual and group membership). We also welcome local businesses who wish to support the arts through our corporate membership package!

Donate Today
Art changes lives, and the KAC is proud to make it happen. When you make a donation you’re not just supporting the arts — you’re making our community a more healthy and vibrant place for everyone.
